ANZAC Day! By Cameron

In G4 we have been learning about a NZ holiday called ANZAC day. ANZAC day is when the Australia and New Zealand army corps landed on Gallipoli, Turkey. The sad  part is that they landed on the wrong beach and the whole beach was surrounded by cliffs, and on those cliffs were tonnes of German and Turkish soldiers making us Kiwi's and Aussie's easy targets to be shot at. A lot of Kiwis thought it was going to be the best day of their life! The worst bit was that this is the day we lost the most lives ever!
