ANZAC Week

This week we have been learning about World War One and what life was like for ANZAC soldiers.

Some of us brought in some special items from home such as medals, dog-tags and photographs

Did you know that Griffin is named after his Great Grandfather who fought in the war?
Griffin also wore these medals on ANZAC day

Matthew brought in many interesting things including some photographs of relatives who were in the war

We have all learned many new and interesting things this week

We also wrote letters home to family members as if we were ANZAC soldiers ourselves. We covered them them with tea and we are going to rip them next week to make them look old.
