Water By Rohan and Olivia L

Yesterday in class we were learning about the water cycle! We learned what the word 'catchment' means. It means an urban or natural drainage place. Lakes, mountains and rivers are all natural catchments. Houses are urban catchments!

There are many different ways to say 'Water' in other languages. 'Wai' means water in maori. 'Wasser' means water in German. In class time we wrote water in different languages (in block letters). We coloured and decorated the words and Miss Slater stuck them on the wall. They look really cool!!!

What are the four parts of the water cycle? Everyone who answers correctly gets 1000 points!
